Network connections and access problems
Use Carrot Web before wireless ADB for current configuration tasks. The address is the comma device's IP, not your phone's IP.
Quick connection
- Connect the device and phone or PC to the same Wi-Fi or hotspot.
- Find the device's current IP.
- Enter
http://DEVICE-IP:7000in the browser address bar. - Alternatively, tap the white carrot icon on the device and scan the QR code.
Example: http://192.168.0.25:7000.
Diagnose by symptom
| Symptom | Check first |
|---|---|
| Page will not open | Same network, device power and current IP |
| Worked yesterday | IP change after reconnecting to the hotspot |
| Fails only on public Wi-Fi | AP client isolation |
| Web works, upload fails | Device internet connection |
| Web works, video does not | Stream already in use, camera readiness, codec / WebRTC support |
| Using an old Fleet URL | Use port 7000 instead of 8082 |
Refresh the page. If needed, reboot while parked and wait for services to start. Reinstalling Flask from an old guide is not the default repair for the current branch.
Distinguish three addresses
- comma IP :7000: Carrot Web.
- Jetson IP: the connected Jetson's management address, shown in Carrot Web's eGPU card.
- Public log link: a server page showing uploaded material, not your device's management address.
Do not expose port 7000 or SSH directly to the internet. Share IPs, links and permissions only with the person who needs them.
What about the old wireless ADB guide?
ADB instructions for old Android CarrotMan/navigation app installations are not the current settings workflow. Follow a separate Android app's procedure only after confirming that the specific configuration and version are supported.
