Longitudinal control without wiring changes
Do not use the historical claim that one setting enables longitudinal control on every ccNC / HDA1 vehicle as a current support determination.
Why does support differ?
The bus carrying SCC messages, the commands processed by the camera/ADAS and the vehicle interface must all match. Options and ECUs can produce different results even for the same model and year.
Current CAMERA SCC settings
The catalogue gives HyundaiCameraSCC a range of 0–3:
| Value | Catalogue meaning |
|---|---|
| 0 | Off |
| 1 | Longitudinal-control vehicle |
| 2 | Cruise-state synchronization |
| 3 | Stock cruise · CANFD longitudinal wiring |
This table explains menu labels; it is not a recommended-value table for your vehicle. This is not a single on/off switch. Do not copy an old Camera SCC: 1 instruction on its own.
Check in order
- Record model, year, powertrain and actual camera/ADAS configuration.
- Identify the harness connection point and CAN receive bus.
- Compare the current vehicle interface with validation for the same configuration.
- Back up settings, then select only the required items.
- Start with parked checks of CAN errors, gear, pedals and cruise state.
The README distinguishes camera connections for CAN/conventional CAN-FD from ADAS connections for HDA2. Device type or vehicle name alone does not establish whether extra wiring is unnecessary.
